His legal name never was Martin Luther King, Jr.; it was Mike King.

He plagiarized most of his PhD thesis; Dr. King..? Yeah, whatever.

He plagiarized major portions of his first book, Striding Towards Freedom.

Most of his speeches were written for him by a communist car dealer, a man the FBI was hugely afraid of and interested in.

Was his cause just? Was he hugely charismatic? Of course.

He also liked to sleep with and then beat-up women on a very regular basis.

It's really high time to open all the files on MLK and expose the real charlatan behind the manufactured myth.

Mike King? Do you have a source on that?

I know he plagiarized and womanized.

A source on the beating up women too?

Thanks.

Okay, a quick google got me to his father having traveled to Germany, become inspired by Martin Luther, and then legally changed his and his five-year-old son’s name.

So correct, but not some sort of fraud that MLKJ pulled, as implied.

Oh, and it was indeed his legal name, given to him by his father.
