Exactly my thought. OMB is tasked with determining what is essential and what isn't. OMB is headed by Mick Mulvaney. ("Shut down 10% of the gov't? Hold my beer! How about 25%?")
Trump just needs to remember to keep referring to it as the Democrat's shutdown.
I have a feeling that the plans are already drawn up and Mulvaney is just waiting for the nod from the President to implement, said plan. All while digging into the CFPB so he can eliminate that extortion racket.
Come to think of it, what a perfect time to say that the CFPB is non-essential and will completely de-funded.
Yep Mulvaney has a plan to mitigate a Chuck U Schumer shutdown. The longer this goes even the dull-witted will get it’s a nothing burger of a ‘shutdown’ and another political stunt.
