Here is another one by Van. The Hammond B work on this song is an inspiration itself. But so are these Lyrics:

High Summer - Van Morrison

And they shut him out of paradise
Called him Lucifer and frowned
She took pride in what God made him
Even before the angels shot him down to the ground

He's a light out of the darkness
And he wears a starry crown
If you see him, nothing will shake him
'cause high summer has got him low down

Nope...just a 70 year old woman who remembers the song from my youth. I was a Rodgers & Hammerstein fan back then.

The link will take you to a clip from the movie "They died with their boots on". It is only 2:59 long and features:

The Gerry Owen

This song was also the 'theme' for Hal Moore's 7th Air Cav in Viet Nam.

Give it a listen and you too will be inspired

Daddy didn’t pay for the after market accessories. He may have paid for the orthodontist.

Excellent Choice.

Memphis Blues, Queen Jane Aprox -

Dylan has some great tunes and still put on a hell of a show, about 1/3 Sinatra tunes and old standards with a beautiful old-timey band.
