Amazon said Thursday it narrowed the list of potential sites for its second headquarters to 20 locations.

Amazon said it will spend $5 billion in the place where it builds its second headquarters and will employ 50,000 there. The company previously said it was looking at metropolitan areas with 1 million people and a stable, business-friendly environment.

The remaining 20 places are:

Atlanta Austin, Texas Boston Chicago Columbus, Ohio Dallas Denver Indianapolis Los Angeles Miami Montgomery County, Md. Nashville, Tenn. Newark, N.J. New York City Northern Virginia Philadelphia Pittsburgh Raleigh, N.C. Toronto Washington, D.C.

Interesting list narrowed down by Amazon. Any predictions on where they will end up? Opinions on where they should end up? I can only imagine the corruptions and deals that are being offered by cities like Chicago and NYC.

Denver is libtard enough without apple bringing a bunch more to continue the moral decline of Colorado.

Austin. Whole foods. They can build right next to the executive airport. Toll roads right there. And it can create more car traffic. Joy

Oakland needs some heavy-weight gentrification.

Putting tin foil hat on. Assuming most of the workers would be libtards, I wonder if they are talking with the DNC about trying to flip a purple or red state with the move.

I was thinking Austin or Raleigh, NC myself.

I don’t know the weighting on their criteria. Neither Austin or Raleigh are “Centrally Located” for distribution. I’m hoping for Indianapolis (because I am selfish). ;o)

Listening to Chris Plante on WMAL this morning and during the local news they say that DC, Northern VA, and Montgomery county MD are still in it, but that PG County and Baltimore somehow are not...

I used to live in MD, so my observation tells me that Amazon is RACIST as PG and Balt are mostly black while the 3 still in are heavy hispanic.

Just sayin...

If you go and look at property cost and salary levels...some of these make no sense (NY City, Chicago, Northern Virginia, DC, LA, Miami, etc).

It is curious that Ontario is still on the list, and I would think that Nashville would make it to the final three possible winners.

The impossible pick out of this deal is Philly. Why in the world place it there?

I suppose that much money and employees could slightly change demographics. But almost all “big” cities are blue already.

The present Amazon HQ is in LaLa land. I hope they put the new HQ somewhere in the middle of our U.S. That way the Amazon big shots will get more exposure to the way we unwashed masses live and think. We may be not the crowd the elite invite over to dinner but we are what built and bled the USA of today.

Chicago? Bwaahahahahahaaahahaha!!!!!!!!

Ironically, the article says Detroit was eliminated from consideration. But Chicago made the cut? Rahm is probably offering to buy the land and build the facility for them. Government money in Chicago is free and plentiful.
