Shooting your own kids is generally not considered an ideal solution to extended immaturity, even if it is tinged with overtones of psychosis. :>)

I was using “shoot” as a euphemism. I believe natural processes will deal with any Offspring who turn out to be nincompoops in spite of all my efforts.
