Actually, terribly. There was this world war, and then a cold war starting, and they just had to have a UN, so that all the little conflicts around the world continue to smolder forever, and there’d always be a bunch of global social workers to exacerbate and perpetuate them. Are things improved now? Well, what would have happened in 1967 if the UN hadn’t sent peacekeepers into the Sinai and the straights of Tiran to bugger out when things got scary? Huh? And what would have happened if when Rwanda exploded, the UN hadn’t been there to do nothing? Huh? And when Israel defends itself successfully from some heinous act by international criminals or rogue states, who is there to roundly condemn their racist asses? So there. The UN gooood. Donald Trump baaaaaad. UN gooood. Israel baaad.
