We have to start subsidizing stable marriages to a greater extent than we currently subsidize out of wedlock children. This would stabilize the family and provide children a chance.
I agree, but it someone even mentions requiring that the father be identified before welfare benefits are granted to an unwed mother, that causes a political ____storm from the left. That should be a requirement and the father should be required to supply some amount of support.
