Judges can make child suport be paid. Family court can rule the biological father pay. They make men who are not biological fathers pay. They have made teenage boys who have been raped by female teachers and gotten them pregnant, pay child support. They can make any man regardless of marital status or even if they are not the biological dad,,pay.

And it is basically second alimony bcause there is no accounting it must be spent on the child. This is the 18 years of free money they go after. They arent going after it for the childs benefit.

I’m sure in some cases it isn’t for the child’s benefit; my understanding is that the father can receive an accounting of the funds. I also understand child support can go past 18 if a child goes to college, for example.

I happen to be married with children; I married someone from a culture that doesn’t accept divorce unless conditions are extreme. At the same time, I understand why guys have no interest at all.
