Every American “urban” area IS a sh*thole and it seeps to the Suburbs.
It will never get better. Some exceptional ones crawl out of the crab basket and succeed on their own. Some of the others can be employed in a governmental agency which is really charity—adult day care for the incapable.
But most exist without ambition or shame—feral wasted lives of violence, drugs, promiscuity, and dependency.
