Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has renewed his call for the transfer of Islamic embassies from Washington and for the boycott of United States President Donald Trump's administration until it reverses its recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Warning of Trump's policies in the Arab world, Berri said: “We stand before attempts of a radical shift in American policies. Trump's decision is at the forefront of this coup.”
Speaking on Tuesday at the Conference of Islamic Parliaments in Support of Jerusalem in Iran, Berri called for the closure of all “Israeli embassies in Arab and Islamic capitals,” he also called for the “annulment of the Oslo peace accords” of 1993, which form the basis of the Palestinian Authority's relations with Israel. ....

Be careful what you wish for. After the war, you’ll have to occupy them, and put up with constant terrorism and expose the brave lads and lasses to tourist crap merchandise at the bazar. They won’t even be allowed to drink beer, or read girly mags, for fear of offending the conquered members of a proud race. Trump’ll probably fall into the trap of rebuilding their infrastructure and reestablishing a democracy. Politicians just can’t resist that crap, you know.
