I’ll put a vote in for Pennsylvania. Lots of traditional rural towns, four seasons but not too much winter, and easy to get to other parts of the country. Avoid the cities.

I’m from Alabama and wouldn’t mind living in Pennsylvania. Well, except for Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

When I was fourteen years old, we were traveling to Michigan from Providence, Rhode Island. We went through Central Pennsylvania and it was beautiful.

I’m also a fan of older homes, especially older homes, and Pennsylvania has some of the most beautiful homes with lots of character and history.

Agree. Forest county pa is gods country. 4 seasons, mountains, trees, rivers, lakes and wildlife. No internet. Inexpensive. No retirement income tax.
