Nice summation on years of scandals. An army of prosecutors could spend the rest of their days pursuing the scandals of the last 8 years, and would not have sufficient time to connect the dots and prosecute the scum-legion.

Sorry, but no. Any grand jury the government used to bring charges would be comprised of jurors surrounding or residing in DC. Those jurors support democrats at a 95% level. Under NO circumstances, and irrespective the evidence, there would be NO charges filed. That grand jury would O.J. 2.0

Politically, perhaps, but not in a formal legal sense, which is why Nixon after his resignation wanted and got a pardon from Ford. This year, with the Dems aiming at impeachment of Trump and his prosecution if possible, the normal political restraints that protect a former president are off. Indeed, the best hope for the GOP retaining control of Congress and for Trump avoiding impeachment by a vengeful Dem majority may be for the Department of Justice and Congress to show the public solid evidence of Obama and Clinton wrongdoing and to then appoint a special counsel to investigate and prosecute.
Obama’s defense attorneys would seek to impanel a jury over weighted with Obama’s people.
