Could it be that parts of CA are s***holes, or is it racist to say that?

Econ 101:

Rewarding (ie welfare) unwanted behavior (ie poverty), produces more of the behavior.

End the welfare state.

Face it they encourage people not to work (socialism), condone crime and love substance abuse.

It is also the homeless capital of the USA.

If you want to live on the streets’ assure you that you want to do it in sunny Califirniaas opposed to other freezing states.

Seems like a perfect article to unleash a Trump tweetstorm, no?

Maybe the reason libs are so obsessed with income inequality is that they’re surrounded by examples of it in every state they control, and not just a few countries as well.

When one looks at housing costs when defining poverty California will always lose. It costs a small fortune to live there

There are many parallels between the Californian and Federal problems. (1) A deeply entrenched Progressive bureaucracy (2) An overabundance of bureaucrat operatives (3) A recent history of Progressive Democrat and RINO Republican leadership (4) Third World morals in governance. The ‘Federal electorate’ finally rebelled giving us Trump but due to the massive ongoing in-migration of poverty, I see no chance of a similar solution in California.

It’s the poverty capital because it’s a place where you can make $100,000 and still struggle to pay the rent and your student loan.

I am from the (rural) East Coast. Was in San Diego recently. I simply couldn’t believe the number of homeless/addicts/mentally ill (ie. bums) around. Turn your head anywhere while at a shopping mall, strip mall, office complex, and you could easily count a few hanging about.

I wanted to walk to a nearby shopping area from my hotel in the early evening, but was warned not to “because of our homeless population” was the cliche I was given by the hotel staff.

Just another thing Californians have simply learned to accept, without question.

Indeed California policymakers know how Cook county (Chicago) works it’s how they stay in power most voters in California are clueless to facts they only know what the media pimps to them.

California’s becoming a shithold because ‘liberal elites’ are totalitarians at heart. In a few years they’ll be rounding up people and putting them in ovens.

It costs a small fortune to live there<

You are way behind. It cost a small fortune to live here 40 years ago (800 sq foot house, 40 years old, 6,000 sq foot lot for $100,000). Today it costs a huge fortune to live here (same house $2 million).
