I have lived in Europe during refugee crisis and then in Russia which has visa free migration from Central Asia and other 3rd world former Soviet states...what do you want me to say? I am all for border security, ending chain migration, a WALL
- but I also recognize that immigrants from “sh*thole” countries often end up becoming good citizens, and more often Christian than socialist, pro-abortion, climate alarmist Scandinavians.

Nobody is saying we shouldn’t take in anyone from S-hole countries, just not so many, and they should be vetted.
That's patently false, and I am a shining example of the inaccuracy of that assertion.
I'm hardly ever outraged at the President'sactions or words—in fact, I'm frequently accused of being too much of a cheerleader for him—and I'm not outraged at this.
But I do think it was an inartful mistake, and there's no sense in stridently insisting that people who think as I do regarding this incident are "the same ones who are outraged at anything Trump does".
How about allowing for differences of opinion in this case without dogmatically pigeonholing those who happen to disagree?
I agree with controls and that in regard to ALL immigration from all countries. A decrease across the board...
Apparently though, the President said the comment (allegedly) alongside a comment about immigrants from Norway being inherently better.
Scandinavian immigrants have contributed so much to this country no doubt.
But as for measuring the “performance” of modern day Scandinavia: the region may look like less of a sh*thole, but the secularism, socialism, abortion, euthanasia, eco-climate madness they espouse is just as responsible for Western cultural rot as is unbridled immigration.
Iceland is not Scandinavia...but it and Denmark both have apparently nearly eradicated the birth of Down Syndrome babies via prenatal testing and abortion...that is how “clean” the countries are.
Whereas Latin American and African countries — though suffering from poverty and the legacy of incredibly traumatic events have among the most pro-life laws in the books!
That’s all I am saying. From a Christian perspective.
Ok, but it seems to me then the people who would most likely want to leave Sweden for the US, would be those who are tired of the secularism in Sweden, and thus, could very well be conservative. Seems to me the secularists would be more than happy to stay in Sweden.

A lot of our military service members are Latino...and that needs to be taken into account.

A talking head made a good point today. When the mouthy Hollywood libs said they’d leave the country, they said they’d go to Canada, Austrailia, France, etc. Did any say they were headed for Haiti, El Salvador, or Africa? If not, why not?

What ELSE would you call countries that are run by drug lords, military Juntas and communists or religious lunatics who marry young children, stone people to death, cut off limbs, etc, OR Countries like in western Europe, who allow people who THINK like that in BY THE MILLIONS!!
Go back and look at the immigrants who came to this country through Ellis Island and who were checked for diseases!! They didn’t look like what’s pouring into our country, unchecked, and unverified. My grandfather had to be “sponsored” before coming to the USA from Poland in 1913! And, there were specific quotas for each and every country. If the quota was full, you didn’t get to come.
No one is talking about all the diseases the people from these countries are bringing into the USA. Wake up America and realize these RAT traitors sold their souls to Satan long ago.
