The President of the European Parliament has told right-wing Hungary and Poland that they must accept liberal values or leave the bloc. Guy Verhofstadt, who is also the parliaments Brexit spokesman and leads its largest liberal bloc, said there was no place in the European Union (EU) for nations who elected right-wing governments to create illiberal societies.

The 13 independent States, countries is many respects, deliberately and reluctantly banded together and created the Federal government with the signing of a relatively short legal document. That document severely limited what the new fedgov could do. Even with those pretty severe restrictions, spelled out in plain english, the fedgov, like a cancer, grew and grew, and slowly took over the body.
That’s what organizations do. Their main purpose is to grow and perpetuate the organism...oops, organization.
Form an alliance with the U.K. The reemergence of a hitler/Stalin mindset is not good for Europe.

I don’t think the EU has provisions to eject members.
Isn’t this the same rationale used in Communist countries to only allow their party to run?
So basically, if your are not liberal enough you gotta go? That’s all that’s needed???
