Evening! Sorry I didn’t post this morning. Right after I posted the thread, I went into the downstairs bathroom to find it had overflowed - big time! Called Roto Rooter. It’s fixed - for now, but he had some problems getting to the septic tank. We may have roots or ice partially blocking the opening to the tank.
Plus, basement flooded. He said he’d be glad to get us an estimate. Looks like we’ll never get out of debt before we retire.......
January thaw! I hope it sticks around for a couple of days at least, before we go back into the deep freeze!
LOL! When we had our House the stack always froze around this time. Tried everything but nothing worked. If it wasn’t that Uncle Rusty’s house a couple blocks away had drainage problems. So happy to be where we are now...although we found a place in Rennerdale we would move to if we hit the lottery!
