Reuters is reporting that NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers has announced to his staff he is resigning, and that a nominee will be announced to replace him shortly.

It took us a while to figure it out, but now that we have become aware of his place in history, Rogers departure makes sense. His incredible accomplishments are complete.

I am so impressed with how he conducts himself. Steady, persistent, low key but bulldog.

I thought NSA directors served longer...But you are correct.

I’m not sold on him being such a good guy. I think he is being forced out.

After all, he knew full well illegal searches were going on. These searches are more than likely still going on in collusion with the CIA, DOJ and FBI and now Mueller.

Yes, the deep state needs a sacrifice from each division (except CIA I guess). With Rogers gone, no one will have the authority to speak as head honcho at the NSA while discussions on the surveillance law renewals are going on. How very convenient.

Yes, I know he gave the President elect a heads up at the Trump tower initially. So what? He obviously didn’t come clean because the surveillance continued and we don’t know what he told him, do we?

One final comment, I watched him testify before committee along with Comey and found him to be every bit as hesitant and evasive with his testimony. I am surprised they haven’t brought him in for more testimony.

Nope, not a fan of the Admiral. He seems to me to be as deep state as the rest of them, just smarter.

You may be right. For example, he may have got caught in a leak sting.

Four years isn’t unusual for a top military job. Rogers’ predecessor was very unusual in having the job for nine years.

Or could be health, or wife’s health, or wants to run for Congress, etc. Could be most anything.

“Nunes needs to stay where he is. Who would fill his shoes? The only move I’d like to see Nunes make would be if Trump decided to get a real AG.’

Right. What is this obsession with using congressmen and women to fill everything. And look what happened with Sessions. And his senate seat now belongs to a democrat. It was a bad move all the way around.

I don’t share sundances conclusions that this is the end games for the deep state.....
I don’t agree we are anywhere close to actually ending the deep state, either. But with all respect, I don’t see where the Treehouse reached that conclusion. Here is the last sentence of the extremely lengthy Rogers article referenced above, and throughout the thread:

“This is why Chairman Devin Nunes is currently gathering evidence.”

Then why is his work done......they still were unmasking after October, Rogers raised his hand when asked if the Russians interfered with the election.....why doesn’t Rogers say something about obama’s flying monkeys illegal eavesdropping..
I hope sundance is right but I just don’t see it

If you mean Rogers, it's just time for him to retire, which is usually forced on you in the military if you don't make the next higher grade within a certain time frame. And Rogers is held to strict non-disclosure agreements, even after he leaves the military.

If you mean Sundance, his position is that we are just at the stage of gathering the hands-on hard evidence, per the link I shared.

I'm with you as far as not yet being convinced the real criminals are all going to be locked up at some point. Political correctness, Republican ineptitude, Democratic deviousness, still all stand in our way, no matter how clear the picture is already painted of their guilt. So we have to keep fighting on, and never lower our guard assuming we've already won. I think that's how those at the Treehouse see it too. At least I hope so.

He and every other “white hat” should receive loud praise from all of us. I have been praying that people in positions of knowledge and power would have courage and protection to come forward and fight against the coup that’s been waged against the Constitution.

I hope before he leaves, Admiral Rogers will speak to the heroes at Special Operations Speaks and start the investigative process for the person who will take his place. I hope that every patriot within our government and military will know it is now safe for them to tell the truth and truly keep their vows to protect and defend the US Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic.

I hope a new wave of honesty and earnestness within the investigative bodies will result in the true story being known about Benghazi, Fast and Furious, Extortion 17, “The Hammer”, Uranium One, The Clinton Foundation, the Clinton emails, Pizza-gate, Obama’s ineligibility, and the Fuddy hoax. This is all incredibly serious stuff. It’s time somebody got serious about finding the truth.

Nunes wouldn’t be qualified but Holder, Lynch and Sessions are? Maybe a non lawyer is precisely what we need to clean up the rat’s nest that DOJ has become. Of course with the reasoning people are using Trump has no business as president. Trump has no political or DC experience so therefore unqualified. Right.

Mike Rogers is only 58 and has only been NSA director for 4 tears. His retirement looks fishy to me. Does the Deep State figure they can force DJT to appoint someone who is vastly inferior to Mike Rogers?

Whats the bald head stooge McMasters going to do to sabotage this new NSA appointment? IOW I am worried.

____

I understand your concern. I think this is all things will be cool for the good guys.
