Pro-amnesty Democrats insisted President Donald Trump should send them a shorter list of immigration priorities — so he sent them on Friday a new copy of his October 8 priorities plus a new cost estimate for his border wall. The estimate for the 700-mile border wall says it will cost the government $18 billion, or roughly 1 cent for every $20 spent by the federal government.
Democratic leader Sen. Dick Durbin issued an angry response to Trump’s tough negotiating style:
It’s outrageous that the White House would undercut months of bipartisan efforts by again trying to put its entire wish-list of hardline anti-immigrant bills—plus an additional $18 billion in wall funding—on the backs of these young [illegal immigrants] people.
Bipartisan negotiations continue in good faith among senators who understand what is at stake, and I will continue my efforts to reach a bipartisan agreement.

Exhausted, the hooker turns to him and says, ”Hey, I was expecting something perverted and disgusting.
But that was OK. So, what exactly is immigrant style?”
The illegal immigrant replies, ”You send bill to Government.”
AND THAT MY FRIENDLY TAXPAYER, IS EXACTLY WHAT THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ARE DOING TO US! Screwing us and we pay!!
As always, Dick Durbin is wrong.
President Trump is advocating for the entire wish-list of the patriotic Americans who elected the President of the United States. In return, he’s offering to ignore the serious crimes that these sympathetic criminals are profiting from. That’s a good deal for real Americans, since we put an end to the illegal invasion. That’s a good deal for DACA criminals, since they continue to benefit from their criminal past. That’s a bad deal for DC insiders, since they lose the cheap labor express. We know which group Durbin and his like care about.
As long as Bannon is executive chair of breitbart we should ban it from FR.
POTUS, Trump, let the Democrats, Schumer, Pelosi & Durbin shut the government down. Give the Democrats not one iota on the DACA issue, unless they give you what you are asking for. Screw the government “non-essential” employees...they are all useless, anyway!!! adn...do not pay them one cent when the government begins operations again!!!
POTUS, Trump...you hold all the cards in your hand. give the scum & vermin Democrats zilch, unless they begin to play ball on many fronts. Ya da Man!!!
He could use his “regulations” guidelines for immigrants...for every, one, LEGAL immigrant we let in, one-hundred ILLEGAL immigrants have to be deported.
It’s hard to see much coming of this, which is both good and bad. Bad because most of Trump’s immigration reforms will languish...until, and unless, Trump is willing to push them to the point of a government shutdown. Good because the DACA thugs will still live in limbo, subject to deportation.
To the Dems, they’ll walk away, saying that they gave it their best but Trump insisted on iron-clad, verified, reforms before cutting any deal (unlike the Republicans they’re used to), and wait out Trump, hoping that the next Administration (either party), will sell out the country.
At least that’s what I hope happens - but Trump is a bit wobbly on immigration and is walking through a minefield right now with his base of support. He best be VERY CAREFUL before making any ‘deals’.

Presidents can promise up the kazoo. Congress AND THE COURTS still have a say.
But Trump will make sure we get some new rules in our immigration policy....NOW That's the reality.

Do to the Dems what they did to Reagan: agree to DACA if they agree to the wall. Slow walk DACA into the next century while we build the wall.

That’s where they’re headed. Trump seems to have a “bipartisan” jones about now. I also wonder whether Bannon’s singular focus on DACA on his radio programming 6 hours a day could backfire—as Trump is unlikely to want to give him a win.
