I know I say in my profile that I don’t talk politics much, and I don’t. All I want to say is that I’m very surprised that the author was given such access. It’s possible that he said he wasn’t going to use some of the things they told him, which I don’t know that those who talked to him can claim and how successful they’d be filing a lawsuit, but again, can’t believe they talked to the guy.

Thought I was following the election fairly well. Was talking to some kinda independents while visiting Cali about a month before the election. One person said he was willing to give Trump a chance until he found out he hired Bannon. I had no idea who this Bannon was. Oh well. Now he is gone.
.... I'm no big fan of Bannon .... but I would like to wait before I pass judgement before all of the dust settles and the true facts are known.
Nice argument but you’re wrong here. It’s important to synthesize all the info together, even if it ends up that you discover there is enough evidence Bannon isn’t a good guy.
My guess is Bannon was his main source and the author never had as much access to the White House as claimed. One can easily check the visitor logs.
Unlike quite a number of others, Bannon has not denied ANYTHING attributed to him by Wolff.
If Bannon has corrections to make, he’s been far far too slow in our high-speed media world, which he should understand as well as anyone.
Just for calling Don, Jr. “treasonous and unpatriotic” I have lost all use for Bannon. If he did not in fact use those words he has already waited too long to correct the record.

I find it monumentally annoying that Wolff printed scurrilous charges about Mrs. Trump. The lady has been nothing but a gracious First Lady.
It really looks as if you’re right. People have trashed Trump’s judgment for letting Bannon into the WH to begin with. Afaik, Bannon enjoyed a fairly good reputation prior to his meltdown. Also, the Mercers would likely have put in a good word for him, which would have gone a long way in conservative circles.

Even the sleaze bag himself - Wolff, his reputation is well known - admits he fabricates - needs to finally get his az sued. And so does the publisher who KNOWS his reputation.

But honestly is a rare trait these days. Wolff calculated he’d get the fame and fortune he so wants - the publisher knows it’ll make them gobs of money - and the press will use it like a Bible. But the WORST offenders are all the people who normally wouldn’t swallow the Lame Stream Media’s hype - ARE! Like the comedian says: “You can’t fix stupid.”
