Please understand. I’m an immigrant from the UK. I came here during my mid-teens. This country has been wonderful to me. I’ve been a citizen for 18 years. I understand what it means to assimilate. My son became a U.S. Marine. I believe this is the greatest country the world has ever known. I pay more than most in taxes.
There are those that were brought here, not by their choice, that have integrated, learned English, are law abiding, and are productive members of our society. I don’t believe it is in our best interests to get rid of those. It’s throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
