I listened to Smerconish when he was just getting started, for years his schtick was to throw out some issue and pretend he didn't know which side he came down on and ask the callers to weigh in. By the end he'd pretend to get enlightenment and be convinced to the conservative side. Then he read the tea leaves in 2008 and decided the country was going massive shift to left and he jumped in with both feet. He endorsed Obama, mocked Sarah Palin mercilessly, and gave the finger to all his conservative listeners. Then the tea party happened ending whatever lefty uptick there was and he was left dangling in the wind with no audience.
He's a fraud and a phony.
Who, what, where, when, why and how. Sports writers are the worst offenders. I’ve read stories when the game score is not mentioned until the fourth paragraph. All six should be in the first paragraph.
Quite a shock this was on CNN. It was wonderful to hear all of the accomplishments of this past year under President Trump. The list is impressive.

When I came over from the Fox News BBS (shut down due to vitriol), I carried that hand to hand combat attitude over, posting vanities left and right. That did not go over well.
