For many bills, 60 votes are required.

This bill falls under what’s called a “budget reconciliation” process, which only requires a majority. It’s called the “Byrd Rule”.

Was Sanders asked why he owns three homes, where he got the money to buy the lakefront house on Lake Champlain during the campaign, is his wife guilty, and what’s his net worth? Did anyone ask him to explain the wealth of Democrat senators and Congressmen or why most of the wealthiest Congressional districts vote Democrat?

I may get about $100 per month from the tax cut.

What I’m happiest about: the “Trump Effect” on my and Mr. RooRoo’s stock/ mutual fund portfolios—we are up 30 percent since Trump was elected, passed the two million dollar mark a few months ago. Mr. Roo Roo and I have always had “upper middle class” incomes, have lived very comfortably but not extravagantly. We will have a comfortable and secure retirement.

I never in my life thought we’d ever have the kind of money we have now. Thank you Mr. Roo Roo for being a good investment manager, but most of all, thank you President Trump!!

“And their job is to represent multi-national corporations, not working families.”

What would YOU know about “working families”, Mr. Rich White Vermonter?

I can’t say it enough: never forget that pot-head Bernie Sanders was kicked out of a hippie commune because he was always doped up and “too lazy”.

Plus his wite is a grifting crook, as far as I know she hasn’t been cleared of charges.

The tax bill will make employees less toxic for businesses hire and keep, and lead to fuller (non-govt) employment.

The Dems/progressives/collectivists/Sanders-socialists just, absolutely HATE that.

More Americans working and more Americans keeping more of what they earn. (And more Bernies afraid of our success!)

I guess I’m really behind the times. There are 52 Republican senators. I thought 60 votes were needed to pass a bill in the senate (to overcome a minority filibuster).

Nuclear Option

What’s 4 minus 2?

Answer: The number of jobs Bernie Sanders has had, if you count government jobs.

Years ago, when I first became aware of Bernie Sanders, I quickly concluded that he was a fruitcake and basically insignificant. I was right about the former but I was wrong about the latter. He’s gained significance only because the democratic party and young people (with heads full of mush) have bought into his lunacy. But he is still a fruitcake.

Sanders wants us to become Venezuela...

But the problem with stealing from the rich and giving to the poor - is it can’t be done forever.

After a while ‘the rich’ run out of money to use to make new money - - and the scam is up.

That’s what Bernie wants here... Venezuela...

The rise of some pensions plans is scary. When they can go up many thousands of dollars in one day I say kudos to Trump but I know what is coming and I’ve seen it over and over in my life. They will slam the hammer on these gains if they can but I doubt we will see any large burst downward if the tax plan is passed. That should give the markets at least 90 days to go even more bonkers.

The left is trying and will try everything they can come up with to slash the current market level. It’s one of their biggest targets against Trump and they don’t care who they hurt or destroy as long as they get back their access to the US Treasury and the political power they crave. These are some sick and twisted psycho’s and they are devoid of humanity and are certainly Godless.

Trump may not be perfect, but then again who is? But, he loves the country and he will fist fight. Chosen by God, supported by people of love for their country, he may well be on his way to being the best executive in modern times.

This is stupid. If this is a huge pay off to corporations and EVERYONE knows it and all this will do is make companies do buy backs then the obvious question that I have is: Which companies are most likely do do buybacks? Once Someone gives me the answer I buy shares of that company and profit. So Let me ask any of the financially savvy here. Which companies are likely to do buybacks? Apple, HP, MasterCard? Who?
Waiting with Cash in hand to buy stocks...If you want to be a political hack then you won’t make money. As for me, I’ll use this as an opportunity...(by the way, I don’t believe it’s purely a giveaway to corporations)

I was sitting with a bunch of young folks who think the world owes them everything because, well, because. They were complaining about how hard things were. A couple were the types you see working for Starbucks. I said to them “go make up a job”, they replied “what”? We were sitting in a little cafe type place on the water outside of Houston. I looked around and said “the dock over there needs to be replaced, the trees and shrubs around the parking lot need a lot of help, the chairs we are sitting on need to be painted, the parking lot needs to be re striped, etc”. They looked at me like I was crazy when I told them I could literally walk down the street and make money. And so could they, all they have to do is find someone that needs something.

Sorry, I got off track there but this same group started talking about the “corporations” and how they were going to get huge tax cuts under Trump. About that time the check showed up and of course they looked at the older guy because they knew I’d pick the check up. They really think I’m odd because I’d pay for it with cash. I always have a pocket full of Benjamins. They are debit card and credit card junkies. Anyway, I looked at the bill and said that the place was collecting taxes, sales taxes. They seemed to understand that then I explained that there was no such thing as corporate taxes. They started hooting over that but eventually had to agree with me that if the government taxes good old Starbucks Corp. that Starbucks adds the taxes (in addition to the sales tax) to the cost of the Moca Vente Lite Bogger Roast Coffee I’d never drink.

These particular Millennials were lucky they were dealing with me. My young offespring would not have been so nice about these topics and would have beat them all in to the ground. That kid is an old school work ethic from the 1930’s get the hell out of my way type. So, there is hope.

What’s Berie doing about Debbie Wasserman Schultz electronically depositing DNC campaign contributions made out to Bernie into Hillary’s campaign account?

I guess D/W/S hiring the Awans to do Democrat IT work came in handy.

Maybe that’s why the passel of House Democrats that employed the Awans have taken the “Oath of Omerta” when asked about the Awans IT activities.

Bernie should be completely ignored. He doesn’t matter, and he made himself irrelevant after Hillary and the DNC ran him over during the primaries.

Why does anybody even bother to report on anything that Bernie does or says? He’s an embarrassment to the word “truth”, and is only interested in his socialism, aka: communist ideals.

There is and never was anything that republicans ever did that Bernie would agree with. So, why bother? Why not just take any issues and any programs and any ideas regarding republicans, and just automatically include a clause that says, “Bernie says no” to any article or news report. We don’t ever need to hear from Bernie again; just automatically say “Bernie disagrees”, or “Bernie says no”, or “Bernie says it’s for the 1%”. It’s always the same with Bernie.
