Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-San Mateo) told KQED Newsroom on Friday that she believes Republicans are trying to shut down the House Intelligence Committee’s probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 elections.
Speier also said, “The rumor on the Hill when I left yesterday was that the president was going to make a significant speech at the end of next week. And on Dec. 22nd, when we are out of D.C., he was going to fire Robert Mueller.”
If this were to happen, Speier said, it would cause a constitutional crisis. “That is Saturday massacre 2.0,” she said. “Without a doubt there would be an impeachment effort.”
Fellow representative, Adam Schiff, had the same concerns.
Schiff says that no witnesses have been scheduled after next Friday, and that dozens of outstanding witnesses have not been contacted. He tweeted that there will be interviews next week, but they will be held out of state while important votes will be keeping members of Congress in Washington D.C.

Speier needs to get into the narrative game plan with Schiff for Brains and Swalwell. Why?
Because all 3 of them were leaving the closed door hearing while testimony was going on and it is now known that sporadic leaks were going on to the press during it.
All three were leaking so now they are desperate to advance whatever narrative they can to try and sort of cover.
The leakers like airhead Speier are the barking dogs who got hit by the rock.
exactly! Mueller and his biased and dishonorable staff are the best thing to happen for Trump. The credibility of the special investigation is shot. Why start another round?
Trump should not fire Mueller. He should have AG, Jeff Sessions order Rosenstein to fire Mueller. The Rosenstein should be fired by Sessions.
Better yet let Mueller hang himself as his investigation goes down before his very traitor, turncoat eyes. Mueller should hand in his resignation on this coming Monday morning, but, then he should either drop dime on the real culprits of this setup farce, Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton or, he should disappear forever into the acid Democrat low life, swamp he lives in.
Would love to this whole gang of America destroyers in orange suits, handcuffed and, on their way to prison for life!!!
