I do not mean to be a downer but there are only so many exciting words in the English language to convey how huge a story is. We are watching history in the making the likes of which I have never seen(I really do not remember Watergate, and this blows Watergate away). If any of 2 or 3 huge stories a day we are learning right now happened in any other time in history .....Massive news scandals.

When was the last time you remember orders like this coming form the Congress or Senate????????? Major History in the making! How would you get across to your readers the importance amid all the other bombshells(a word I despise) today and get it to stick in peoples heads as truly important?

I completely agree. Pretty soon people start ignoring the story because of an overused hyperbolic word. Hoft/GP use it quite frequently. I don't even bother to look at their stories.
