Why you ask? Because it’s his job. I’m no fan of Jeffy but I’d think far less of him if he didn’t defend his subordinates. Like the CEO of a company, if there are higher ups that are out of step you can them (Trump needs to fire some) but don’t talk badly about your company. To do so you lose all respect if those at lower levels. There’s THOUSANDS in the dept that have nothing to do with what is taking place
