I first read the headline as "Has North Korean leader Kim Jong un-executed one of his top aides?"

How do you 'un-execute' someone?

I thought, "Wow, the North Koreans are really taking this cult of Divine Leader a bit too far!"

I can't blame you. Headlines can be made up of butchered phrases. If you do not parse them properly, you could get easily confused, whether you are tired or not.

Besides, N. Koreans, Kim Jong-un in particular, are known ‘to boldly go where no man has gone before.’ All kinds of wild antics are possible and it sparks your imagination.:-)
