Anyone who watches Fox has noticed a vast sea change. I no longer watch the 6pm news and I have since the inception of it. I switch to Fox Business which is still conservative. And I learn about economics and the stock market as well.
It was where they explained Bitcoin to me. They also have Tammy Bruce and Molly Hemingway on regularly.

If that’s one of the operating principles of FR I have yet to hear it. Yes, there are some who don’t care at all for FNC, but to imply that all of Free Republic believe the same way is not all accurate, and shows you’re are unfair and/or just not paying attention.

There was no such claim. Although there are formal operating principles, there are also informal dogmatic thoughts that have evolved. One is that Fox News is trash. Another is that all who subscribe to the Islamic faith are war mongers.

As you well know, Fox News was Founded by Roger Ailes. There is no better conservative. He knew that to thrive, Fox news must be presented as fair and balanced. At the founding most here thought Fox News was God’s gift to the news.
Many here will not accept the balanced nor the fair. They foolishly insist on a pure conservative propaganda organ. they extrapolate that insistence into condemnation that is not deserved. There is a band wagon component as well. They get points by patting themselves on the back when dredging up the dogma as citation and dissing Fox News.
Although it was predicted as certainty that the Murdoch kids would turn to the left, the opposite seems to have happened. The prime time line up has a solidly conservative face. In your face conservative some undoubtedly say.
Then the re is poor old Juan Williams. He is the only leftist voice among four other mostly conservative voices on the Five. Of course conservative sanctimonious purists will try to argue to the contrary, they are just wrong
