“Every Republican running for office from here on out will be accused of sexual impropriety. The GOP should have stood it’s ground with Moore.”

It’s true all Republicans will be accused of sexual impropriety from now on.

But you would have to look far a wide to find an anachronism as loathsome as Roy Moore. I believe 1/2 the Republicans that didn’t bother to turn out didn’t believe the charges against him.

But they do remember how he twice violated his oath of office as the Chief Judge by failing to carry out superior court orders. And they also remember his zealous ignorance expressed on Blacks and homos.

The man was not fit for Federal Office long before he was accused of being a pedophile. Then his defense was “I didn’t take out any girl with her mom’s permission”. And, “I dated lots of young women when I was single”.

He was a dangerous idiot.

But he would have been a Republican vote in the Senate.

In the end, that was not enough for the people of Alabama. And I don’t blame them.

Moore fought for the Constitution. He’s a man who knows how to hold his ground. It’s a lot more than we have in Congress right now.
