Scaramucci: Tuesday was a 'good day for America' because Bannon lost

Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci said Wednesday that Doug Jones’s Senate win in Alabama is “good day for America” because it was a blow to Steve Bannon.

Bannon, a former White House chief strategist, campaigned for Jones’s GOP challenger, Roy Moore, who lost the race for the vacant Senate seat after weeks of mounting accusations that he sexually molested teenage girls.

“That was a good day for America yesterday in the sense that Bannon lost,” Scaramucci told Bloomberg News. “I don’t think it was a great day for the Republican Party either way.”

If Bannon were running himself, he would have won, Scaramussi, you idiot. Can’t you just be quiet? It would help the cause.

We dodged a bullet with Scaramucci. He would have been yet another liberal in the same mold as Jared and Ivanka whispering “advice” in Trump’s ear. Among other things, Scaramucci is a big gun control advocate.

Scaramucci is trying to play up the establishment spin that Moore's loss is a some sort of referendum on Bannon's brand of nationalist conservatism. It isn't. Moore's loss had nothing to do with ideology and everything to do with his sex scandals. Take those away, and Moore, whatever his faults, would have defeated Jones by a landslide.

He’s a spicy meathead, but he has a point. The level of arrogance and self congratulatory tone Bannon displayed while defying Trump was bothersome. He really though he knew better than President Donald Trump. Hopefully this defeat humbled him a bit.

Scaramucci is really nothing more than a self-promoting loudmouth. Nothing he has said in the political world is worth listening to or spending any time thinking about. It is hallow air.

This guy is not the sharpest tool in the box
Makes one doubt Trumps judgement about his “friends”
sometimes
Imagine a Schumer majority leader Senate being applauded in petty spite over the political loss of a conservative editor

Bannon will lose only if he quits.

Consider the possibility that it’s Bannon who wants the Democrats to win big in 2018, because it’s true.

“The level of arrogance and self congratulatory tone Bannon displayed while defying Trump was bothersome.”

It would help your cause with some specific examples.

Hopefully this defeat humbled him a bit.

He was outspent 10 to 1 by outside forces are barely lost. While Trump was outspent 2 to 1 there are limits to surviving a well funded, well engineered nuclear attack from a threatened establishment.

Moore is no Trump.

Trump can handle the wolves, Moore couldn’t.

Corey Lewandowski used to do this when Manafort succeeded him. Petty, bitchy B.S.
He (Corey) would sit on left wing talk shows throwing barbs and little spit ball put downs. I think at some point, The Donald told him to knock it off and stick with their separation agreement.
