Of course, given the small % vote difference, and the demographics of the state, I think all it took for Jones was to concentrate on the major population counties like Montgomery and Jefferson and that was enough to eke out the small margin of victory; also “get out the vote” is usually easier to work out in the major cities. Yes I know, even then, if not for that, it would have meant a strange victory for Moore, with so many 2016 Trump voters not voting.
