As a self-employed entrepreneur, I am wondering what the tax bill is doing with Schedules C and E. Anyone know the answers?

I don't know if he could have stepped aside and allowed Strange to be the candidate.

But clearly Moore was not up to the task of being a candidate and it cost us a Senate seat.

To heck with Mark Levin. He’s a putz never-trumper. As far as Moore is concerned I am as unhappy as anyone he lost, but he was a flawed candidate from the start. I disliked Strange, but he would have held the seat.

Sometimes it takes a day or week to get back.
I’m a road traveler.

Allman always was a diehard lib and I never understood it.
If he left his fortune to the homeless in wherever, OK.

He didn’t. Libtards bitch about poverty but have no clue about the world or what is written.

Lyrics are just right. I do play it quite a bit along with Principle Leonard Skinner (RIP).

I think all it had to with was that Carter was from Georgia, nothing more. The band was out of Macon and Phil Walden of Capricorn Records was the one who was political and introduced Gregg and band to Carter.

“I do play it quite a bit along with Principle Leonard Skinner (RIP).”

Ya gotta know a bit about Skynryd to get that reference.
:D
From what I’ve read, I believe the Principle actually came around to liking the boys playing on his name, even if he didn’t approve of the long hair.
But, yeah, if they shut up and play (or act), their political leaning makes no nevermind to me.

XM does an entire interview with Greg on that election.

He just didn’t know any better.

Probably. At that time in his life he was doing lots of drugs, drinking too much and still trying to deal with Duane and Barry’s deaths.

I don’t know if Moore is guilty - I know he says he is innocent and served in office for four decades without being accused. However, I know they were serious allegations and allegations that are tough to overcome. I also know that his attorney put out some evidence in his defense - the media didn’t report on it of course. My point, though, is that Moore ran a TERRIBLE campaign. He said he was innocent, so he should have been out there everyday trumpeting his innocence and sharing the evidence his attorneys put forward in his defense. Instead, he would disappear for wide swaths of time, did few rallies, went out of town the weekend before the election, had spokespeople that did a poor job, and wasn’t out there every single day. He said he was a fighter, but he wasn’t fighting.

I see what you are saying about going along with the establishment just to win. That didn’t work with McCain and Romney, though. It’s not secret that Mitch McConnell and the Republicans wanted him to lose - even without the allegations. Moore would have been a threat to the establishment as he wanted McConnell out as Leader. He would have been there fighting against him. His win would have showed the weakening of he establishment and opened the door for more anti-establishment, Bannon candidates. McConnell is happier than Doug Jones right now.

What the Republicans could have done if they didn’t want him to lose is said, “Look, these are serious allegations. However, Roy Moore has been in the public eye for decades, run five races, been under investigation twice, been married over 30 years, raised four children, and has grandchildren. He has never been accused until before this election. Because it is innocent until proven guilty, we will endorse him, and then we will give him his due process if elected. We will investigate and toss him out if he is found guilty. Then he will be replaced with someone else.”

That takes into account the allegations and innocent until proven guilty. It also ensures that if he is found guilty, another Republican would get the seat. There would then be a special election.

If Roy Moore is innocent, then yes, this opens the door for this to happen again. All someone has to do is accuse someone, and even if false, it could derail their political campaign or career. If it’s true, that’s okay, but if it’s false, that would be terrible.

They are going to go after Trump - Russia isn’t working for them.
