Since when to we determine appointments to SCOTUS based on a balance of race, color or sex as a means of determining ones skills and experience to do the job????

Pushing for diversity just for the sake of diversity is racism.
The basic problem is the lack of qualified applicants, so that’s were the efforts should be made.

We should all agree that the best qualified should be hired for ALL positions.
Enough of this “equal” crap, I want the best and brightest to be in the offices of all enterprises and government.
We have suffered too long over this path of mediocrity’

I don't care that much about their religion, either. If they were Catholics like Scalia, Alito, or Roberts I'd happily have all 9 be Catholic. If they were Episopalians like Gorsuch, I't happily have all 9 be Episcopalian. Regrettably, I can't think of examples of Jewish US judges/justices that are worth anything. Anybody?
