“It would appear I quote Hitler as well?”
No, it means you are literally Hitler.

On at least one occasion, Hitler said “thank you.” Recently, I said “thank you” to someone. OMG! I quoted Hitler, and did it with a smile.

“Moore ... quoted Hitler”

Leftist desperation to the nth degree.

>>>Note that we had the Civil War and abolished slavery without these amendments.

The Civil War did not abolish slavery. Slavery was still legal in Maryland and Kentucky during the war. The Emancipation Proclamation only affected those areas under military control. It took the 13th Amendment to finally abolish slavery.

During the war?

I’m referencing after the war. Once the Civil War was over, Slavery wasn’t tolerated anywhere?

Am I wrong there?

It hasn’t been my position the war was started to end slavery. Lincoln thought up the Emancipation Proclamation at a time when he was having a very hard time continuing to pay for the war effort.

His proclamation on January 1st, 1863, seemed to do the trick, and funding was forthcoming once again.

Once the war was over, it was my understanding that slavery was no longer allowed.

If that’s not true, then I’ve thought of it wrong for a long long time.

I heard tell that Doug Jones HATES the Crimson Tide almost as much as he loves feasting on human flesh.

Where’s the Washington Post?

That said

1)Repealing the 12th amendment would be idiotic, see election of 1800
2)As for the 17th, the Bama legislature would have an approximately 0% chance of electing Moore, and that was pre-WAPO slander. Don’t dare tell me otherwise, people like him, swamp critters do not.

Actually Doug Jones is a big friend of the only power that really matters in the state of Alabama, Paul Bryant Jr.

As US attorney he allegedly made sure Bryant’s company avoided charges.

“If you tell a big enough lie long enough, people tend to believe it.’

Here’s the quote, and it’s from Joseph Goebbels, not Hitler, and countless people have referenced it. After tomorrow night when Moore wins the election and becomes a US Senator will they finally shut up.” I doubt it.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.......”
