.....”My care bear is a GLOCK and my safe space is the range”....
Sounds right on target!
In my freshman dorm back in the 60s, my next-door dormmate put one of her stuffed animals on top of a light fixture and then fell asleep. At 1:00 AM the whole floor were awakened by the smell of acrid black smoke.
But times were different. We all helped her put out the flaming teddy bear and clean up the soot on the wall, had a laugh and went back to sleep. No one called the housemother (yes, we had them), the fire department, a counselor, a parent or an attorney. No one posted the video to Facebook so it could go viral, because there was no such thing. Therefore there was no investigation and it remained an inside joke for a handful of dorm girls. No one even was mean to her.
In due time she graduated and got a great job as a designer with a household-name corporation whose products every single freeper in America has seen or utilized. She also got married and had kids. No one sued anyone. No one ruined her life over it.
Amazing, right?
Exactly! LOL cute....
I do believe college ‘children’ are unable to do anything or be anything ‘alone’ without a cellphone pacifier and safe place to ‘hide’ from the boogie man or whatever fear their feeble minds might conceive..
