Fox News Poll: Enthused Democrats give Jones lead over Moore in Alabama
Fox News ^ | December 11,2017 | Dana Blanton

Posted on 12/11/2017 8:01:01 AM PST by Hojczyk

Democrat Doug Jones holds a 10-point lead over Republican Roy Moore among likely voters in deep red Alabama.

Greater party loyalty plus higher interest in the election among Democrats combined with more enthusiasm among Jones supporters gives him the advantage in the race to fill the U.S. Senate seat previously held by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

That’s according to a Fox News Poll of Alabama voters conducted Thursday through Sunday using traditional polling techniques, including a list-based probability sample with both landlines and cellphones.

Jones receives 50 percent to Moore’s 40 percent, with 1-in-10 undecided (8 percent) or supporting another candidate (2 percent) -- which could make a difference Tuesday. That’s even truer with such an unconventional election with unconventional candidates.

The Democrats have already been caught cheating. And they have called in every vote fraud generating group they can get there hands on. Therefore it is going to be very tuff for Moore.

>>Polls are designed to shape opinion, not measure it.

They’ve been weaponized against real Americans (as opposed to mere occupants of the USA), like the media, the law, Education, pop culture, etc.

Faux News trying to pickup PMSNBC viewers.
Too dumb to know they are going to follow Megyn into a pointless future.

Scary?

Like what is it to them if they are wrong?

They know that people have the attention span of a roach, that is why after 2016, people still have their moods affected by polls on FR.

I’ve noticed for the last few election cycles the Fox polls have been skewed left. I’m not giving this one any credence.

This poll has a sample of only R+2. I think Alabama had an R+over 20 in the last few elections. Unless dems turn out in unprecedented and historic proportions, this poll oversamples dems by a large margin. - see here -

If Moore gets the undecideds, he is within the margin of error. Go Roy!

I tuned into Fox late last night to check the latest “news” to find out what’s happening in the world. What I got, instead of news, was more of Fox’s “last minute” anti-Moore jihad.

I think we’ll see a massive turn out of the “silent majority”. I’d think the typical person in Alabama is sick to death of the liberal lying media and wanna stick it to them. They may not be Moore fans, but that isn’t what they are voting about.

The real polls at the end, are what the posturing of the candidates is like. Internal polling by candidates IS VERY GOOD in comparison to media manipulation polls.

For example, Hillary knew she was losing, and she even knew the three states she was losing that would end her career. So remember that when they say... “we goofed, we made a mistake, we got it wrong, we couldn’t have predicted X factor...”

Jones is pro-abortion which means selling baby body parts, not entirely anti-gun rights but close...will follow the progressive agenda regardless of citizens wishes...

The propaganda/SMEAR campaign against Roy Moore is huge and vicious; I would say on par with Joseph Goebbels whose propaganda for Hitler swayed a nation.....

Alabamians will do what is just, they will vote for Moore.

Bovine Feces. Sentiment doesn’t swing 20 net points over night. Leftist disinformation. Goebbels would be proud.

This poll is completely bogus!

If you look into the party identification of Alabama, according to PEW, it's 52 Republican, 35 Democrat, and 13 Indy.

If you use the results that the Fox poll got, Jones +86 with Dems, Moore +70 with Reps, and Jones +29% with Indys, and use a sample matching the PEW numbers, Moore comes out ahead 46% to 43%!

In order to get the numbers that Fox seems to have gotten, they needed to use a sample that was EXTREMELY oversampled Democrats!
