No, I don't think so.
In fact, they've double-down instead.
They resigned Goodell, whose lack of leadership caused this debacle to begin with and then allowed it to continue to this dismal level.
They've invested $100 million in Social Justice causes that the players, think need to be addressed. When did playing football become liberal politics?
In October, Goodall said, "I think we all agree that there's nothing more important than trying to give back to our communities and make them better."
Hey Goodall. How about supporting your country and it's military and law enforcement instead of a bunch of Van Jones commie ideas?

Exactly. It's shocking how quickly the NY Giants went through a waiting list back in 2008 for season tickets that used to have people waiting decades to get to the top. That was more of a financial issue than anything else. Fans who were willing to pay $90 to $150 per game for season tickets simply didn't want to cough up $5,000 to $20,000 for a personal seat license in their new stadium.

It was fun watching the highlights — from the warmth of my couch. LOL.

“Its next years season ticket sales thay will reveal the actual impact.”
If next years attendance resembles the “crowds” they had with the replacement players during the strike the NFL is doomed.
I hope they draw LESS attendance than the strike season.
No Fans Left.

Since they kneeled for the US anthem, and stood for the UK anthem, I doubt if they give a flip about anyone behind the scenes. I cannot/will not watch the NFL again.

Yes, there is a great asymmetry between pre-anthem protest attitudes toward the NFL and post-anthem protest attitudes toward the NFL, and they ain't getting that one back in the bottle.
I actually went to see MSL in Atlanta, and really enjoyed it. [Arthur Blank has hedged his investment in the Falcons with ownership of the Atlanta United.]
I have found a variety of things to do on Sundays, like going to the gym, and I am not looking back.
Biggest brand suicide, ever.

Also, there is plenty of college football to sate peoples’ football appetites.
And actually this was pretty much the way it was until the 1970s.

The big test will be the Super Bowl ratings. I expect a historical low.

Well said. The veil is lifted, the illusion gone, and best of all? Never to return.

That’s who I think are in some of these stands, food stall operators that have no customers taking a rest in a seat.

The concessions are so nice now that people are not in their seats.
yeah, i heard Mike RTirico repeat that line word for word the other night, and knew right then and there that it was propaganda he’d been instructed to repeat by someone higher up. (Mike also seemed to me like he was on some kind of drugs.)

... tickets for Sundays matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts sold for as little as $2. Didn't read thru all the responses, so someone may have pointed this out already, but the weather in Buffalo was atrocious ... so if you're a Buffalo fan trying to sell your tickets you probably would be hard pressed to give them away.
As a long time Denver Bronco season ticket holder I sold my tickets at a 25% discount thru Ticketmaster. Beautiful day in Denver yesterday so the game, in spite of their record and the NFL kneeling issue, was well attended.

Not to worrry. Godell got a new contract, so all is well and they are expecting next year to be a banner year.

I remember when tickets to watch Miami Heat games were $10 in the upper level. That was in 2002.

The article disingenuously cites the Bills-Colts game as evidence of declining attendance. The game was played in a heavy snowstorm, and probably would have had a lot of empty seats even if there was no national anthem controversy.
The Army-Navy game was held in a snow storm Saturday, and that stadium was packed.
The weather may have played a part in the Bills-Colts game, but the number of empty seats has been increasing all season. And not with just the Bill-Colts.
