Bills Colts Highlights in the Heavy Snow Today in Buffalo

This is one beautiful thing. Players seldom get hurt in this deep snow. The snow serves as a great cushion, and the players can't generally run fast enough to cause terrible collisions.

It was a thing of beauty. I'm 70 years old and never saw a game played in that much snow.

Beautiful.

Fom the New York Post:

The Associated Press tallies each player who protests during the national anthem each week. This week’s entry from Buffalo: “Near white-out conditions from snow made it nearly impossible to see.”

The Bills-Colts game Sunday is at times literally unwatchable (but fun!) on TV, and at times literally unwatchable (and seemingly miserable) from the stands. How the athletes are managing on a field that could see up to a foot of snow and with swirling winds is a wonder.

(Notable first-half numbers in a game the Bills lead 7-0: 11 total pass attempts for a total of 49 yards, one field-goal attempt, one field-goal miss.)

10 minutes of Highlights

Check out the very end of the video as a Buffalo player does a snow angel in the end zone (I think).

;-)

The NFL seldom postpones a game.

Well, it’s the same miserable condition for both teams......

This is what made the NFL really fascinating, the games near the end of the season played in Buffalo, Green Bay, etc. when the ice and snowstorms hit. But thanks to the kneelers and the feckless ass-kissing virtue signalling cowardly NFL mgmt, to quote the late great BB King, The Thrill is Gone.

I’m quite sure Goodell and the pampered cronies at the NFL dislike games like this.

They want highly stage-managed, predictable, commercial events to take place in climate-controlled, multi-$billion taxpayer financed stadiums — for maximum profitability.

No they love them. Especially when it lines up like this one. Neither team matters this year, until the snow hit there was simply no reason to watch that game, and it wound up the most entertaining game of the year.

By the way, can you tell me how I can put the line under the url so that people can more easily reach the Highlights?

LOL. My wife and I here in Pittsburgh were going to watch a movie this afternoon, but after we started to watch that snow ballet, we could not turn the game off.

Fantastic.

I wish that the game had been available here, but I’m glad that I was able to see some of the highlights!

True.

I remember a game back in the 50's when the Steelers used to play their games at Forbes Field where the Pirates played baseball. It snowed real hard that day as very rough, tough John Henry Johnson ran all over the place.

It was great.

Did you see the Buffalo player get down after the game and make a snow angel in the endzone (I think)? That snow was really deep in the end zones.

Sounds like the white racists overpowered the protest:

“Near white-out conditions from snow made it nearly impossible to see.”
