If I,a US citizen,were to write such a vitriolic piece about Canada I'd fully expect Canadian officials to take steps to ban me from entering the country.Not only would I expect it,I'd also fully understand it...as would,I'll wager,most Canadians.

DJT should take steps to ban Abdul...or whatever his name is...from setting foot onto US territory.

I stopped reading the Globe and Mail over 30 years ago for obvious reasons. I could not get through this article because the author jettisons all pretense of objectivity and factual based writing very early on.

In doing so, he confirms that he is unable to see what is truly before him and can only view America through the lens of a muslim supremacist/kaffir hating/pseudo intellectual/TDS sufferer.

The problem is not Donald Trump and the people who voted for him. The problem is people like Omar El Akkad who think that his ability to impute motives and read minds makes him a great "journalist".
