The Big Apple convenience store in West Paris, Maine was the location of a stick-up that went south for the would-be robber after the clerk didnt buy that she had a gun.
As reported by the Sun Journal, Paige Tuttle, 26, was arrested Friday on a felony robbery charge after the clerk told the Oxford County Sheriffs Office she had threatened to shoot him if he didnt give her the cash from the till.
The clerk told officers he noticed Tuttle had made up her finger in the shape of a gun and stuck it under her sweater before the demand, so after she told him, I have a gun, he replied, No, you dont, which resulted in her cursing and leaving the scene.
She was later identified from a photo lineup and arrested once a warrant was issued.
Tuttle is in the Oxford County Jail on a $1,000 bond. If convicted on the current charge, Maine state law allows up to 10 years in prison.
It worked on the cartoon shows...
Back country, Maine. Looks like a little inbreeding there, maybe.
But was it an assault finger?!?
More finger control.
when they outlaw fingers, only outlaws will have fingers /s
She got really mad when he said "And those boob aren't real, either!"
Meth aint cheap!
Depends...is there a thing that goes up? If so, yes.
It was a fully automatic assault finger. Those are banned in most places. She maybe got one through the infamous finger gun show loophole.
Next time I go to the urologist I’ll hang on to my wallet.
It’s obvious what are needed are commonsense finger control laws!
She looks “high mileage” for 26. Or maybe just high.
And I don't think they graduated HS.
Would probably have been a great proctologist.
Could be quite a threat, if you don’t know where that finger’s been...
For her sake, I hope she figures out that crime isn’t her for her, gets some help, pays her dues, and starts anew as productive citizen ASAP.
I lived in the little town next to here for a handful of years. The whole area is very inbred. Extremely so. One of the biggest industries is working for the companies that get the government money for taking care of the special needs folks thereabouts. Crack and heroin central as well. Nastiest place I’ve ever lived.
