If the discredited American media have enjoyed even one good week this year, I cannot recall it. But what is not in doubt is that the establishment media have closed 2017 by proving President Trump 100 percent correct about their massive fake news problem.

Exactly! This is the real big story that is finally sinking in with people. 100 percent of the “mistakes” are anti trump. Bullshit. This is intentional and totally proves the president’s point about the media being fake news and another arm of the liberal democrat party. We need to continue to hammer this point like the article does so well.
Even the WP reporter’s apology to Trump was full of lies and FAKE NEWS.

Sane and reasonable people would look at this situation and conclude that the media and the left are acting in collusion with each other with the same goal; the destruction of the current administration.
For historical precedent, Joseph McCarthy gave a speech on the Senate floor in 1951, and later published a ghost-written book that expounded on and backed up his points that he made on the floor, called “America’s Retreat from Victory”.
Like many people, I was unwilling to attach any negative aspirations or actions to someone like George Marshall who was hailed as a war hero and one of the greatest men of the 20th century. McCarthy was not so shy, and was willing not only to say what he thought publicly, but to attempt to back it up with documentation, which he did in his book mentioned above (A copy of which I purchased a couple of years ago)
It is an interesting book, but how it relates to this subject here is this: In his analysis, Joseph McCarthy made the point that if some of the things that were done by Marshall that helped the communists were simply the result of a poor analysis or choice on his part, someone with his intellect would be likely to choose correctly at least SOME of the time, as a matter of averages. And that rarely happened. Without fail, nearly every choice and action in which Marshall was part of, they all were to the advantage of both the Soviets and the Chicoms.
(Note that I am not arguing that Marshall was a shill of the communists, I simply see that thought process applied accurately to the current actions of the media!)
The same characterization can be said of media, in my estimation. If the appalling cumulative negative bulk of their actions were due to their stupidity or inexperience, at least some of their actions would be destructive to the Left, simply as a result of the laws of averages.
None are.
Marshall was loyal to Franklin Roosevelt. Who had Communist advisors in his administration.
Military in the US do not make policy. Civilian government does.
So the obvious consistency could be because of that.
We have a current Senator that this parallel could apply to. I will not name him, probably don’t need to. (actually there might be several)

At best, these people are zealots who are so desperate for a way to depose Trump that they report any anonymous allegation without any effort to substantiate the claim. At worst they are making these lies out of whole cloth.
