I’m too lazy to go through THAT much trouble!

It's not trouble, if you have a modern digital pressure cooker. Just pour milk into a jar(s) stir in some live yogurt, and put it on about 110 degrees for 5-10 hours.

(You could probably go do something else while you are waiting)

It is just so ironic that CNN calls its’ show “Reliable Sources”. I think a name change is in order.

Last fall’s fires that wiped out the Columbia Gorge Refuge is a blackened forest they are now fighting to keep the mills from harvesting or let them stand and attract insects to wipe out the rest of the forests. That is responsible regulation.

Sorry for the mispost, CincyRR!!

Thanks for the recipe, AB. I also have a dehydrator so I believe I’ll be making eggplant chips in the future. I sure wish I’d had it back in November when I had all those eggplants! :-)

They do have a knockoff version of a converted 747 that drops twice that much water but the environmentalists will not let them use it.

Alaska is more cedar, pine and spruce while we are more Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pine, Hemlock and cedar. We have more of a rain forest lush forest while theirs is more alpine and harsh. They import our Doug Fir when they can afford it.

There are good business and bad businesses just like there is good regulation and bad regulation. Unscrupulous business methods are everywhere. So yes, in a perfect world we would not need a modest set of rules and regulations and business, we do not live in a perfect world and I’m not supposing we ever will.

Ok, not to pile on BUT - Lake Baikal used to be a Lake - Communist / government idiots who obliviously knew / know better gave us that mess in Russia

Beijing - Coal pollution unprecedented since at least the 1880s Dickens England - Communist / government idiots who obliviously knew / know better gave us that mess in - RED China

LA (not Lower Alabama) fires caused by Communist / government idiots who obliviously knew / know better gave us that mess because private property owners, CAPITALIST with a PROFIT motive are not to be trusted in your world

Take the Clinton’s for example. There it’s regulated and heavily through laws and law enforcement, yet we still can’t shut them down. Is that because of too many laws or because of bad people?

you make an Excellent point - We here in the U.S.A. have TOO MANY Laws, too many people employed by "Law Enforcement" organizations - The main function of these people is to be the Sheriff of Nottingham and steeling money from us hardworking idiots - but they call it Taxes, Fees, Fines or plug-in your personal preference

the environmentalists will not let them use it.

Obvious enemies of the American people. Maybe now they will be defeated.

Meanwhile, there should be a million individual lawsuits by homeowners who lost everything, against any green-weenie groups that have blocked the use of this otherwise available firefighting tool.

The Russian one has overhead engines like the Warthog, to keep them from sucking up water. I'd think both versions would be handy as the 747 might be a little ungainly for cropdusting-style aerobatics, and flying in low over a small local lake.

Well, prior to that, there was the assassination of JFK, followed by the Soviet-instigated "cultural revolution" of the sixties, with huge protests from black power, the counter-culture hippies, women's lib, "God is dead", the queer movement, plus Bill Ayers and the weathermen, Abbie Hoffman etc etc etc....

Comrade, you make fun if U.S.S.R.?, is no good, you go to re-education camp with Harvey Weinsteen - or as they say in mexican - Pronto

It has gotten to the point that male/female relationships will be chilled....some say to the point that men will be hesitant to hire women, or ever be alone with them, or travel on business trips when honestly warranted.

No, male/female relationships will be never be chilled - Eve gave Adam the Apple - now we have iPhones where us males can see all about Eve - clothing is optional

I wasn't there of course but I don't see someone who is so careful that he asks permission of the parents to date or even walk a little with a young girl getting way out of line with her.Just does not fit the mold.

Was he hot to trot in his 30's? Probably,I would imagine most single guys would be. But Moore was a gentleman first from what I have read. So the allegations of a three time married phony and three times bankrupt don't hold water for me. It's too easy for some women to lie,I see it all the time. Ironically their biggest enemies, other women.

But they had the Algonquin Round table and the 7 nations! Highly sophisticated /s

Is this where they made decisions on when to invade southern tribes, kill the southern "feather" Indian males and steal their women, whom they brought back north when they were done invading the South? Those horrible racist warmongers -

Great post, the hard left is waaay out of bounds on this one and they see weakness. So as the sharks that they are they move in at any sense of blood in the water at all.

For ABC to spend the majority of an hour long show trying to kill any chance Moore might have and then in the end of the show come up with BS like "lets let the people of ALA. decide."

Is about as disingenuous as you can get after blasting the guy for nearly an hour. You come up with a COA of "let's let the people of ALA. decide" They know they were way over board and needed cover and fast.

The drivebys have been way out of line ever since Trump was elected and its only getting worse. I'm pretty sure they have seen the same polls we have that show Moore way ahead and they are panicking.

You sense they now their side is failing and failing fast. They are right. When Moore does win this election, and i think he will,it will show that people have lost faith and don't consider driveby TV credible any more. It's a good sign that the New Media, the blogosphere and talk radio and an occasional TV net is doing its job and we are not to be taken for granted any more.

Here in the keys we have not shortage of rules and regs. 12 foot nets are the max we can throw.

The question than become how much weight on the lead lines and what size mesh on the monofilament netting.

A good friend of mine uses 1/4" which is really small on everything from mullet to cigars to pilchards. He says it will cover the spectrum.

Others use 5/8 or 1/2" on mullet 3/8" mesh on the rest. I even know one guy who uses lighter weight nets in shallower water. It's all over the place but good to know who does what. I carry the heavy nets and 1/2 and 3/8 but I may get more sizes of mesh.

Is this not about the time of year when you get the Santa Anna winds - worm, hot and strong

You gotta remember ozero/valjar declared war on the higher ups in all the military. We lost some really good men because they were patriotic instead of pc or obama brown-shirt compliant.

It's not going to be easy to replace those guys and get rido of the clowns in the process. All that will take time.

Also, there was a war on spare parts and repairing almost anything. So we have unhappy people and bad equipment. A disaster for the country but for the MB and their ilk and other terrorists a blessing.

Only one of many reason why ozero needs to be under the jail.
