WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - President Donald Trump has demanded and received an apology from a Washington Post reporter over a photo of Trump's Florida rally on Friday.
Trump tweeted Saturday that ".@DaveWeigel @WashingtonPost put out a phony photo of an empty arena hours before I arrived @ the venue, w/ thousands of people outside, on their way in." The post included photos of the Pensacola venue as Trump spoke.

No, your error is thinking that it’s news in the first place.
It’s not. It’s enemy propoganda, and this is just another example.
Retractions damage their credibility. I can think of no reason media would bring that on themselves.
“Im beginning to think these news errors are intentional.”
They are intentional, it is not news and there are no errors.
It is leftist globalist propaganda.
They did this many, many times during the campaign.
They’d show up right as people were just entering the arenas and show the empty seats.
Meanwhile, Hildabeast couldn’t draw flies to her events. Tim Kaine went to one where less than a dozen people showed up.
They’ve always been intentional.
It’s enemy propaganda. Always.
The rabid Trumpnuts dont pay attention to the retractions, they only believe the psychotic visions of a world where Trump never was...they are seriously mentally ill.
Glenn Greenwald destroyed CNN, CBS and MSNBC on The Intercept.
Washington Post Reporter Apologizes For 'Bad Tweet' After Trump Calls Him Out
Dave Weigel
He misspelled "weasel"...
Trump will have so much material just on the fake news alone for his 2020 campaign videos.
The Washington Post reporter is a little sh*t... He probably apologized because his paper didn’t want to get sued.
The initial fake ‘story’ gets prime headline or top of the hour coverage.
Their retractions get run in section ZZZZ, page 12184 or in a brief 4 second soundbite at the end of a broadcast. They’re used to (and indeed counting on) nobody noticing or being easily able to explain it away.
New Media is focusing an electron microscope on them now. Dinosaur Media doesn’t know what to do and keeps on with the same thing they’ve always done because it worked for them before.
Weigel was hired as the Wash Post’s hitman to augment the others, E. J. Dionne and Mr. UberSmearjob Dana Millbank.
Looks like Weigel got caught with his journalistic pants down.
Yes, they are absolutely intentional. They are designed to get the worst possible imagine set in the mind of the public - a lasting first impression that the defender is compelled to dispel. The only difference is that now we have a leader who will call the fecal little bitches out, but damage done either way. The left will lap it up like the ignorant socialist bastards they are.
I have another theory too. It’s an either or situation.
Their sources are being burned by revealing planted disinformation.
I read this earlier about Schiff getting burned on the 4 or 14th email re: wikileaks. Or it was a leak test on the gang of eight.
BTW: Anybody notice that leaks have been down since Reince Priebus left? Steve Bannon left with him but I don’t think he was leaking phone call specifics like we first had.
These lies have been propagated for decades and nothing was ever done about it. No one apologized and the press caught lying thousands of times simply put the occasional retraction in a buried location when they were threatened with lawsuits by those that could afford to be bled by the lawyers.
Could be. The Donald didnt get to the top of the food chain without knowing how to root out challenges to his success.
Some of these “incorrect” info nuggets ARE A SET-UP to catch a leaker.
The incorrect info is given to certain people and then they wait and watch....when the incorrect info turns up in a news story, they know who is leaking...this picture could be one of those set ups—who knows?
Leftist apologies are a penny a gross....... worthless and insincere
Pain, real pain, is required to provoke retraction
