There's also the .408 CheyTac with a 419 grain at 3,000 fps. There's a lighter bullet that out penetrates .50 BMG AP rounds.

Parent case for the .338 Lapua is the .416 Rigby. The CheyTac uses .505 Gibbs Magnum as the parent. Fortunately Jamison stepped up and did a run of .505 Gibbs cases, addressing the higher pressure by including a belt on the inside.

Jamison was hounded and eventually shuttered by atf and associated .govs for exporting military material without proper dispensation. Seem they sent a box of, as I recall, .577-450 Martini-Henry brass overseas.
