The Love Song of J.Alfred Prufrock.

I cannot say I am well versed enough to understand all poetry. There is a certain beauty to it though.

Having been required to read that in Freshman English Lit, I’d love for you or anyone to explain the appeal of that. It struck me as the insipid rambling of a very spoiled and self-absorbed man with a morbid imagination.

It is something you can read through the years and hear other songs in different seasons.
