Marx, and apostate Protestant, did have Jewish ancestors, but he is the father of antisemitism in Leftism.
His seminal essay, On the Jewish Question outlins how antisemitism is going to be backed into his philosophies:
What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly God? Money.…. Money is the jealous god of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist
And henceforth, leftism/communism wasn't good for Jews.

Exactly correct. That quote of his comes from a review of Bruno Bauer’s The Jewish Question titled On “The Jewish Question”. Both Bauer and Marx push the notion of abolition of religion in general, but for the Jews to lose their national and religious identity in particular.
