An attorney for special counsel Robert Mueller attended Hillary Clinton’s election night party in New York City, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
Andrew Weissmann’s attendance at the party is one of many signs pointing to a troubling bias from the attorney. Weissmann has been described by The New York Times as Mueller’s “lieutenant” and “pit bull.”
Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch obtained an email Tuesday that reveled Weissmann praised former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates’ defiance of Trump.
“I am so proud. And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects,” Weissmann wrote to Yates on Jan. 30. The email followed Yates’ instruction to the DOJ not to defend an executive order banning immigration from seven nations, an act that led to her dismissal by President Trump.
Weissmann is one of several Democratic donors that have been hired by Mueller, a registered Republican. The special counsel’s “pit bull” donated a combined $6,600 to the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
The special counsel’s probe has been criticized by Trump’s allies, but the White House maintains Trump has no intention to fire Mueller.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in October that Mueller’s investigation would end “soon.”
However, it appears the wide-ranging probe will last into 2018.

Originally they claimed that Tony Podesta was going to be arrested the day Mueller’s first indictments were announced, months ago. From there it went to claiming there were dozens (if not thousands some said) of indictments for Clinton associates waiting to be released, even though we’ve still not even gotten Podesta yet. Last I heard they were claiming that Flynn was excited to finally be charged with a Felony, and completely bankrupt, because that was the plan all along. At that point I quit listening at all.
If they are stupid enough to force this Trump is going to destroy them in the court of public opinion.
Does anyone know if it was the 2016 party which flopped or perhaps her 2000(?) victory party when she was elected to the Senate? That would make it a very long relationship and establish his early bias for Clinton.
I can’t find any pics of them together on the web but there are better detectives out there than myself.

Agree! People see one or two people get ‘reassigned,’ or even, ‘demoted,’ and claim the swamp is being drained. No. The swamp is tossing a stray mud-dweller or two under the bus, so that the teeming masses can continue to thrive.

Yep, those images are things of beauty.
Trump needs to give a speech firing Mueller, and giving a short bio of Mueller and each one of the Hillary and Obama supporters with which Mueller stuffed his investigation.
