I didn’t have a problem with the way Rep. Jordan laid it out.

I prefer the way he laid it out.

If he did the traditional ask a question, take an answer approch, people’s eyes would glaze over.

Rep. Jordan took info that might or might not have been constructed from hours of give and take, bobbing, weaving, evasiveness, rabbit holes, monotonously repeated variations of questions, and trips into the bureaucratic weeds, and spit them out in that one, single statement I transcribed and posted above.

Even the dimmest bulbs of Americans can grasp the fundamental corruption of the situation from that one sequence by Rep. Jordan.

I know what you mean, but you know what? Who cares if Jordan folds like a cheap suit? Who cares if it is political grandstanding? (I don’t, of course, but I think others shouldn’t care either!)

He condensed the fundamental issue into that statement he made. That self-contained statement had the crime, context, and justified outrage all rolled into it.

Nobody has to connect the dots there. I am all for his approach. That is the equivalent of a spotlight.

I understand exactly what you say, and in other settings, would agree with it.

The reason I feel differently in this situation is that I don’t care if a small number of individuals are investigated and convicted. This is a far, Far, FAR bigger issue than someone like Agent Strzok going to jail.

I see this entire thing as the result of Democrat and liberal Republican corrosion of our institutions to the point this entire thing appears to be known to all of them and accepted by all of them.

It needs to be crushed. The FBI is just one entity that is now seen to be rotten to the core and needs fixing. DOJ, Immigration, DOE, etc. are all exactly the same way, I don’t doubt.

I think this aggressive and open approach is worth the risk.

I hear people say Wray is “on our side” and I admit to not knowing much about him.

I have spent a good portion of my life around the US Navy, and they have a mindset of doing something “for the good of The Service”.

I suppose it is the same vein as “omerta” in the mafia. You protect your Naval Service or your Mafia, don’t criticize it in public, even falling on your sword and sacrificing yourself, if you must.

I hope that isn’t the reason behind his evasiveness, that he is protecting the institution of the FBI instead of protection our country and its citizens.

I need to learn more about Director Wray.

"...investigations are kept secret for good reasons, most importantly so that the investigation can gather sufficient evidence to make an airtight case in court... ...Thankfully these professionals know what they’re doing and how to properly inform Congress."

Bigbob, you are SO wrong on this and other threads...

...but I spend every day hoping that you are SO right.

This is a HUIGE RED FLAG and may also be WHY they're so adamantly trying to remove Trump before he EXPOSES this.

This is how you STEAL HUGE amounts of MONEY in a way that FEW UNDERSTAND and literally NO ONE DETECTS.

He was giving answers in the form of questions that didn't need to be answered.

It wasn't a direct examination. It was a cross-examination, and Wray's credibility was very effectively impeached.

This is going nowhere just like all the other “grillings” the House clowns have done.

Until they slap a contempt charge on them and order the sergeant at arms to arrest and jail these smarmy bureaucrats its all bread and circus crapola.

Take the time. It's worth it. Was a real eye opener and surely explains WHY Trump has the LIBERALS and the establishment in "kill" mode.

By the way... the unaccounted 21 TRILLION dollars is the additive effort of the last 18 years of BOTH Dems and Repubs swindling the taxpayers and lining their own pockets.

Now, they're attempting to cover their tracks by removing past budget documents from Government Internet websites.

The PROOF, however, has been preserved, as you'll see.

::Where does government get these types of people? It’s like they’re all cut out of the exact same mold.::

Apologies to any who might be offended by my remarks - you never know today - but there are certain people among the population who are so “different” from the rest of us that they would never seek employment outside of a government job..be it state/local or federal. They are limited in skills and intellect and just naturally gravitate to where the working life will be easier for them. I certainly ran into the type during my working years. Just go along, do whatever it takes, don’t make waves, great pension at the end blah blah...This was their take on it all when you’d visit with friends who DID have government jobs. “You need to go apply for a state job.” Thank you but no thank you. Worked for private sector for over 50 years retiring at 70. Of course, some of those friends were retiring at age 55 or so at a large % of their last state salary!! They made out good but what happens when the pension funds go dry due to the generosity of the taxpayer?

I don’t know which is worse or causes us more problems. People like that or the ones who decide early on (from generation to generation) that it’s easier to just NOT WORK...I realize that’s overly broad and no doubt there are some government workers here...but you know I don’t mean you. HA! After all, you wouldn’t be here if you didn’t use your brain!

I think he was super - never have seen him in any congressional hearings when he didn’t impress me...I like a man who rolls up his sleeves and gets to work. He has to be the only guy in Congress who sheds his suit coat and gets down to business! I don’t ever want to be disappointed in him...

I had never seen him...I was impressed.

Hearing him say those things was like listening to Trump at his Rose Garden speech on global warming where he called it a hoax and redistribution of wealth!

For YEARS I have been waiting to hear a President say that. Actually, ANYONE.

And I felt the same hearing Rep. Jordan say those things. No nice “My colleague on the other side of the aisle...”

“”No nice “My colleague on the other side of the aisle””

AND no “my esteemed friend” which is a crock of you know what when it’s said....I really do wonder what they truly think of the other side. Can they drink coffee with them - mingle with them? I sure wouldn’t be able to.

You will have a real treat if you are able to see Jordan in action more. He really is the best!!!
