I was surprised to see so many young, able-bodied beggars at gas stations and truck stops a few months ago.
You live in Durango you said. I got a question for ya. I sure thought they changed the name of that ski resort north of town, but last time I was through there (this summer) the sign still said Purgatory.
I used to have access to 160 acres with a creek and cabin on the back side of the mountain. I’d go up, catch a few trout, cook ‘em over a fire, and sleep in the cabin or out by the fire. Good times!
I’ve been to Durango. Stayed at a quaint hotel called the Strator. Rode the Silverton (last car so we could stay warm and eat snacks). Charming little town. Shame what’s happened.
