I don't think Franken should resign. Voters elected him twice (the first election was iffy) because they'd rather have a US Senator that's a gross comedian than a career politician. I get that. Let the voters decide, next election.
This is all about finding someone who's expendable and replacing him with someone that fits the power-brokers agenda. It's like Alabama, on the other side of the political spectrum.
