An ordinary mortal would be listening to the guest and would miss the chance to throw a wrench in the interview.

Maybe Hannity has a writtten list of questions and the time by which they must be anked. It seems that he does not listen to the answers that his guests give to his questions. Few interviewers are able to do this. Greta was one of the few.
Leftist interviewers come back over and over until they get the answer that they want so they sort of listen to a conservative's answer but not for any reason leading to more information except for a potential gotcha.
